Much Love Monday continued into Tuesday. The sun was shining. The air was somewhat warm. I decided it was time I get out of the house, treat myself to a Bold Mint Cafe Misto at Starbucks and stroll through Chapters -- one of my favourite things to do!

Chapters is blooming with all things Spring! It was so relaxing to walk by the unique assortment of gardening gifts (a few pictured above), the stacks of gardening books gracing the tables and the beautiful spring colours overflowing on the shelves. I smelled the candles, browsed the books and toured the magazines. I was stopped by a lovely associate to introduce me to the new free Plum Rewards program. I'll have to check it out.

It was a perfect way to spend an hour! I could have lost myself in the store for a lot longer if I didn't have to pick up Bella from daycare. There's always another day!

I had a Parent Council meeting last night so that took up most of the evening. When I came home the kids were sleeping so I relaxed with Steve on the sofa, checked my emails and watched a bit of TV. He dozed off and so I went upstairs, got my jammies on, turned on OWN and watched Oprah's Master Class featuring Oprah herself. I really enjoyed watching her talk about her life. There's something about how she speaks that inspires me.

Today it's raining, but with so much happiness that filled my life yesterday it has spilled over to today!

thinking about how much I enjoyed my Venti Non-fat Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks today. Best of all, it was half price! You too can enjoy a half price latte from Starbucks between 2 - 5pm until February 20th.

Starbucks Holiday Flavours

I'm super excited [though my wallet might say otherwise] -- holiday flavours are out at Starbucks!

With so many yummy flavours to choose from, it's hard to pick just one.

Today I'm Cafe Mistoing it up -- grande, non-fat, light foam, bold, peppermint, cafe misto. Could my order get anymore crazy? Well, yes, yes it could if I had asked for it extra hot, but I forgot.

Another Trip Around The Sun

I'm not big on celebrating my own birthday but I do love the little treats that come with it -- birthday wishes, sushi lunch with my dear husband, a gorgeous bouquet of my favourite flower from a wonderful little flower shop called Violet Blooms and a little something from Starbucks. It has been a lovely day!

Starbucks' Peppermint Mocha Latte

I found heaven! OK, maybe just a little taste of heaven but it was heavenly none the less. Oh, what might you ask am I talking about? My new fave latte from Starbucks -- enter the Peppermint Mocha Latte ... ooo, ah, oh!
Simply delicious! And so was the pumpkin scone I had with it. YUM!

enjoying a Starbucks Gingerbread Latte and a White Chocolate Blueberry Scone! Next time I'm getting the Caramel Brulee Latte. YUM!

Fave Rave: Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte and Scone

A friend and I went to Starbucks the other night for some good ol' girl chat. Instead of getting my usual Vanilla Caramel Latte, I decided to be adventurous and try the Pumpkin Spice Latte. I'm glad I did. It was super yummy! My other favourite at Starbucks lately has been their Pumpkin Scones. They are simply delicious! Fantabulous Fall treats to ring in the new season!

Fave rave: Vanilla Latte

I never understood why people drooled over Starbucks until my friend introduced me to this wonderful concocsion called a Vanilla Latte. While it's great as is, I usually Paulatize (the term my husband uses when I add my own special touch to something) it to make it extra yummy. Ask them to add a pump of caramel syrup (or exchange a pump of vanilla for caramel). You won't be disappointed. My usual order -- Tall nonfat vanilla latte, sub one pump caramel. So good!
